Sausage Rolls
Sausage Rolls is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 3 tbsp. shortening, 2/3 c. buttermilk and 1 lb. bulk sausage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut shortening into flour (as for biscuits).
Stir in milk. Pat dough out into about 1/4-inch thick rectangle on a piece of floured waxed paper.
Spread uncooked sausage evenly onto dough. Roll up like jelly roll.
Cut into slices and bake on ungreased pan at 425Β° until brown.
