Use a skillet and a 9-inch unbaked pie shell; bake in a 375° oven for 35 or 40 minutes.

Fry the sausage and drain well; cook the onion and pepper in the same skillet, using 2 tablespoons of the sausage fat.

Combine the sausage, cheese mixture.

Cool a few minutes.

Press the mixture into the bottom and the sides of the unbaked pie shell.

Mix the remaining ingredients well and pour over the first mixture.
