Sausage Pinwheels
Sausage Pinwheels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. cornmeal and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cornmeal.
Stir in milk and oil.
Divide dough into three equal portions.
Roll each into a 12 x 9-inch rectangle.
Spread 1/3 of sausage over dough.
Top with 1/3 cup cheese.
Roll up jelly-roll fashion, beginning with long side.
Pinch seam and ends to seal.
Wrap in wax paper and chill until firm.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Cut roll into 1/4-inch slices.
Place on ungreased mesh wire racks or baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Yields 5 dozen.
