Sausage Pesto Casserole
Sausage Pesto Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. uncooked rainbow rotini pasta (6 oz.), 1 lb. italian sausage links, each cut into 6 pieces, 1 container (7 oz.) refrigerated pesto, 1/4 c. water and 1/4 c. shredded parmesan cheese (4 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook and drain pasta as directed on package in 3-quart sauce pan.
Set aside.
Spray same saucepan with non-stick cooking spray; heat over medium heat.
Cook sausage in saucepan about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
Stir pesto sauce, water and pasta into sausage.
Cover and cook over medium heat 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink in center.
Sprinkle with cheese.
