Sausage Grits
Sausage Grits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. bulk sausage, cooked until brown, 3 c. hot, cooked grits, 2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine and 3 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Drain cooked sausage and spoon into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Combine grits, cheese and butter, stirring until cheese melts.
Combine eggs and milk; stir into grits.
Pour over sausage.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Garnish with parsley and pimento strips, if desired.
Serves 15.
