Sausage-Egg Casserole
Sausage-Egg Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sausage, cooked and drained, 8 slices bread, cut off crust and butter them, 6 eggs, slightly beaten, 2 c. milk and 1 c. shredded cheese (or more), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Butter a 13 x 9-inch dish.
Put bread, buttered side up, in dish.
Sprinkle cooked sausage and cheese over buttered bread. Mix eggs, milk, salt and mustard.
Pour over bread, sausage and cheese.
Let stand 6 hours or overnight in refrigerator, covered. Take out of refrigerator 15 minutes before baking at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
