Fry bacon and sausage; cut in 1-inch pieces.

Drain on paper towels.

Dump most of grease; use same skillet to saute onion, celery, mushrooms and parsley.

Put bread cubes in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sage, thyme and pepper.

Add meat and other ingredients to bread.

Toss with large spoon until bread is wet. If needed, add water.

Dump into greased cake pan.

Bake at 350Β°, covered, 30 minutes, then bake uncovered 30 minutes or until golden brown.
