Sausage Cake(Moist Cake)
Sausage Cake(Moist Cake) is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. bulk pork sausage (get a good brand), 2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 3 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream sausage and sugars.
Sift dry ingredients together. Alternately add coffee and dry ingredients to sausage and sugar mixture.
Fold in nuts and dates that have been dusted with flour. Bake at 325Β° in tube or loaf pan, which has been greased and floured, for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
I prefer hot sausage (try extra sage).
Serves 16 to 18.
