Sauerkraut Salad
Sauerkraut Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. sauerkraut, 1 c. white vinegar, 1 c. sugar (granulated), 1 (4 oz.) jar sliced pimentos and 1 can sliced water chestnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Bring to boil, white vinegar and sugar.
Rinse and squeeze sauerkraut.
Add pimentos, water chestnuts, onion and celery to sauerkraut.
Pour cooled vinegar and sugar liquid marinade over sauerkraut ingredients.
Refrigerate.
Put in jars or etc.
Marinate 24 hours before serving.
Will keep long time refrigerated.
