Sauerkraut Salad
Sauerkraut Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, drained well, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. vinegar and 1/2 c. celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix vegetable ingredients together in large bowl.
Bring mixture of sugar, oil and vinegar to a boil.
Turn heat down and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour over sauerkraut mixture and mix well.
Refrigerate overnight before serving.
Will keep in refrigerator for several weeks; flavor will improve.
More sugar may be added to suit individual taste.
