Sauerkraut Chocolate Cake
Sauerkraut Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Combine with a fork.
Cream butter with electric mixer.
On medium speed, gradually add sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla.
Add liquid and dry ingredients alternately, beginning and ending with flour; stir in sauerkraut.
Bake in 2 greased and floured 8-inch round pans at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes (or until cakes test done).
Fill and frost with Mocha Whipped Cream Frosting (recipe follows).
