Salmon Loaf
Salmon Loaf is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 2 hours 26 minutes. Made with (1 lb.) can salmon, . butter or margarine, c. chopped onion, c. chopped celery and c. soft white bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Line the bottom of the pan with waxed paper and grease it, too.
Drain salmon and remove skin and bones.
In a small skillet; cook celery and onion in butter or margarine until tender, but not brown.
Stir in bread crumbs.
Remove from heat.
In a medium size bowl, beat eggs slightly.
Stir in bread crumb mixture, milk, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
Fold in salmon and lemon juice until well blended.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Let loaf stand for about 3 minutes.
Loosen around the sides with a spatula and turn out onto a heated serving platter. Carefully remove waxed paper.
Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.
