Salmon Hot Dish
Salmon Hot Dish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 medium carrots (1-inch pieces), 4 to 6 celery stalks (1-inch pieces), 8 to 10 small onions, 15 1/2 oz. can salmon, drained (reserve) and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In medium saucepan, combine carrots, celery, onions, water and salt.
Bring to boil, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain liquid into 2 cup measure.
Place vegetables in serving dish.
Cover to keep warm.
Using saucepan, melt margarine and blend in flour.
Use salmon liquid and vegetable liquid and enough milk to make 2 cups.
Stir into flour mixture.
Cook over medium heat.
Add cheese and Worcestershire sauce until thickened.
Pour over vegetables and salmon.
Serve over baking powder biscuits or mashed potatoes.
