Salisbury Steak
Salisbury Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. ground round steak, salt and pepper (for taste), 3 to 4 tbsp. oil, 1 heaping tbsp. flour and 3 c. tomato juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Shape ground round into 6 to 8 patties.
In a large iron skillet with oil, brown the patties and remove from skillet.
Add to the oil in pan the flour.
Add the tomato juice, vinegar, ground cloves, sugar, salt and onions.
Allow to come to a boil; return the patties.
Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
