Salisbury Steak
Salisbury Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground round, 1 c. finely chopped onion (i use 1/4 c. seeing my family isn't fond of onions), 1/2 c. cooked long grain rice, cooked without salt or fat, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 egg white, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π Recipe adapted from RecipeNLG-Full
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl; stir well.
Divide into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a 1-inch thick patty. Coat an electric skillet with vegetable cooking spray; heat to 320Β°.
Add patties and cook 5 minutes on each side.
Drain on paper towels; set aside and keep warm.
(I put them in the oven on warm.)
