Salami Potato Swirl
Salami Potato Swirl is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium to large potatoes, 1/2 onion, sliced, 1 clove garlic, 3 tbsp. soft butter and 3/4 c. hot milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Pare the potatoes.
Cut into quarters.
Cover with water.
Add onion and garlic.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until just tender, not mushy.
Drain (save potato water for soup).
Mash potatoes.
Add butter, milk, eggs and black pepper.
Whip until fluffy.
Stir in salami, cheese and green onions.
Spoon into a buttered ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Heat under a broiler until crusty or at 450Β° for 5 minutes.
