Ruth's Baked Beans
Ruth'S Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small square pkg. ground chuck, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped, 1/3 c. mustard (more or less to taste) and 1/3 c. worcestershire sauce (more or less to taste), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Spray Pam in skillet and heat on stove.
Scramble and brown meat.
Mix onion and bell pepper in a teaspoon or two of margarine.
In mixing bowl, mix together browned, drained meat, beans with their liquid, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
Pour or ladle into a bean pot and bake slowly at 325Β° in oven for 2 to 3 hours, covered.
