Russian Teacakes
Russian Teacakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft butter, 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/4 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix butter, vanilla and sugar well.
Sift flour and salt; stir in sugar mixture, mix in nuts.
Chill dough.
Heat oven to 400Β°. Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool.
Roll in sugar again.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
