Russian Salad
Russian Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. lemon jello, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 8 oz. cream cheese, chopped, 2 c. miniature marshmallows and 1 can evaporated milk (small), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large stainless cooking pot, combine jello and water. Stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese and marshmallows.
Put on low heat until blended.
(Use hand mixer to beat while heating.) Take off heat.
Add milk, pineapple and mayonnaise.
Mix well.
Add lemon juice, bananas and nuts.
Pour into mold.
Chill for several hours.
