Round Steak Roll-Up
Round Steak Roll-Up is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sliced top round steak, 1 egg, 1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. catsup, 1 c. dry bread crumbs and 1/2 c. chopped fine celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Pound steak with meat pounder or have run through tenderizer, flattening to 1/4-inch thick. Beat egg and 1 tablespoon catsup together.
Stir in crumbs and celery.
Spoon onto steak.
Bring edges of steak up and roll into long roll.
Place in baking dish.
Mix 1/2 cup catsup, mustard, water and syrup; pour over steak.
Cover with bacon strips. Cover with foil.
Bake 1 hour.
Slice and serve with drippings.
