Romanian Stew
Romanian Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 pork chops or steaks, 4 tbsp. uncooked rice on each chop, 1 tbsp. chopped onion on each chop, 1 tbsp. green pepper on each chop and 1 large can tomato purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Lay pork chops on bottom of casserole.
Put 4 tablespoons uncooked rice on each chop, 1 tablespoon chopped onion and 1 tablespoon green pepper on each chop.
Pour over 1 large can tomato purée; salt and pepper.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
Add warm water if necessary.
