Rolled Sugar Cookies
Rolled Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. shortening and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Stir together flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Beat butter and shortening for 30 seconds.
Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well combined.
Cover and chill 3 hours.
Work with 1/2 dough at a time on a lightly floured surface to 1/8th thickness.
Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 minutes or until done.
Makes 36 to 38.
