Roast Chicken
Roast Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with whole chicken, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, cut celery, fresh onions and washed whole potatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt butter in small bowl, season with thyme, garlic and seasoned salt.
Brush on chicken.
Season body cavity with butter mixture.
Place in roasting pan.
Brown in 400° oven for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered.
Stuff body cavity with cut celery sticks and onions.
Add quartered potatoes and carrots to pan.
Add 1 to 2 cups of water.
Cover; roast in oven at 350° for 1 hour.
Remove chicken and vegetables.
Thicken broth for gravy.
