Rich Creamy Fudge
Rich Creamy Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. pet evaporated milk, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or 2 c. and 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow crème or 1 1/2 c., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Coat a 13 x 9 pan with butter.
In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter.
Heat over high heat until butter is melted and mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to medium; boil 6 minutes, until candy thermometer reaches 234°, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips, Marshmallow Crème and vanilla.
Pour into buttered pan.
Refrigerate until firm.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
