Rice Meat Balls
Rice Meat Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. minute rice (uncooked), 1 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, slightly beaten, 2 tsp. onion, grated and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine rice with beef, egg, onion, salt, marjoram, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato juice.
Shape mixture into 18 balls and place in skillet.
Add sugar to remaining 2 cups of tomato juice.
Pour juice over meat balls in skillet.
Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
Makes 6 servings of 3 meat balls each.
