Rhubarb Cake

Blend margarine, brown sugar, egg and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Put dry ingredients into margarine/sugar mixture.
Add buttermilk.
Mix well. Stir in rhubarb. Spread into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup white sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
