Rhubarb Cake
Rhubarb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c sugar, 3 eggs, 2 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream together sugar and shortening until light.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy.
Stir together the dry ingredients.
Add alternately with milk to sugar mixture.
Add rhubarb last.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased and floured cake pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon to taste.
