Refrigerator Rolls
Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. sweet milk, 3 tbsp. shortening and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

First, scald milk and dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water. Let milk cool to lukewarm, then add sugar, yeast and enough flour to make a thick batter.
Let rise to double in bulk.
Then add salt, shortening and enough flour to make a dough that can be handled easily.
Put in greased bowl and let rise (double), then make into rolls.
Let rise again and bake at medium 350Β° until brown.
These will keep in refrigerator for several days or can be frozen to be baked when needed (must make into rolls before freezing).
