Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.

Set aside.

Pour 1 cup boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt.

Set aside.

When these mixtures have cooled, mix together and add eggs.

Add flour, 1 cup at a time.

Dough may require hand mixing.

Put into greased mixing bowl.

Spread a thin coat of oil on dough and cover bowl loosely with damp cloth.

Place in refrigerator for at least 3 hours before using.

Remove part of dough.

Place on floured surface and roll out.

Cut in 3-inch circles.

Brush circles with warm melted butter and place on cookie sheet or in greased muffin tins to rise (approximately 3 hours).

Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400Β°.

Rolls can be prepared night before.

Remove from refrigerator to rise at least 4 hours before baking.
