Red Velvet Cake
Red Velvet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 lb. butter, 2 eggs, 2 large tsp. cocoa and 2 oz. red food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream together sugar, butter and eggs.
In a separate bowl mix cocoa and red food coloring.
Mix these into a paste and then add vanilla, salt, buttermilk or milk and vinegar mixture.
Then alternate between flour and buttermilk mixture.
Pour into other bowl.
Then add baking soda and fold in vinegar.
Do not beat after added.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes in a greased pan.
