Red Velvet Cake
Red Velvet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. crisco, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 oz. red food color, 2 eggs and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add food color.
Mix well.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour, cocoa and salt together 3 times. Alternate, adding with milk.
Add vanilla.
Dissolve baking soda in vinegar and fold into batter.
Do not beat after adding soda!!! Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 45 minutes in a Bundt pan.
