Crisco, and eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and red coloring.
Add to mixture. Mix salt and vanilla with buttermilk.
Add alternately with flour to other mixture. Mix soda and vinegar together and pour into mixture. Do not beat this. Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
