Raisin Puffs
Raisin Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raisins, 1 c. water, 1 c. shortening, 2 eggs and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook raisins in water until water is absorbed.
Set aside to cool.
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
Sift flour with soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture with raisins and vanilla; mix well.
Shape into small balls and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Bake on greased baking sheet at 350Β° (do not overbake).
Bake until puffy and remove quickly.
Wait a few minutes before removing from pan.
