Raisin Bread
Raisin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large cake yeast, 1 c. warm water, 1/2 lb. butter, 3 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat milk to boiling point.
Put butter, sugar, raisins and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Pour heated milk over this.
Mix and set aside to cool.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Combine mixtures and eggs.
Stir well. Start adding flour by cups, mixing until kneading consistency; not too hard. Cover.
Let rise.
Punch down.
Let rise again.
Punch down. Form into loaves.
Let rise. Bake at 350Β° about 1 hour.
