Radford's Brown Sugar Pound Cake
Radford'S Brown Sugar Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 lb. brown sugar and 5 large eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream butter, shortening and sugars.
Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients.
Add alternately to creamed mixture with milk.
Beat well at medium speed.
Add vanilla and nuts; stir well with spoon.
Use 1 standard-sized tube pan or 3 foil loaf pans (7 7/8 x 3 7/8 x 2 1/2-inch).
Ice with favorite brown sugar icing. Bake tube cake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours; loaf cakes at 325° for 1 hour.
