Quick New England Baked Beans
Quick New England Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, diced, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 3/4 c. honey, 4 tsp. dry mustard and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Saute in skillet the bacon and onion until onion is almost tender.
Remove from heat.
Stir in honey, mustard, salt and cayenne.
Layer half of beans in a 2-quart covered baking dish. Spoon half of honey mixture over beans.
Repeat layers.
Cover and bake at 325Β° for 1 hour or until honey mixture is absorbed.
