Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with pastry, single crust, 1/2 lb. swiss cheese, sliced, 3/4 lb. bacon, sliced, 4 eggs and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Line a 9-inch pan with pastry.
Cover with cheese.
Fry bacon until crisp, crumble and arrange on top of cheese.
Beat eggs with flour, salt, cayenne and nutmeg.
Add milk and melted butter. Pour custard over bacon and cheese.
Bake in 375Β° oven for 40 minutes, until set.
Cut into wedges.
Serve warm as an hors d'oeuvre.
