Cream together shortening, eggs, pumpkin, and 1 Tbsp. vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Pour into a greased 10 inch tube pan. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour & 15 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting.
Make frosting by beating together cream cheese, margarine, vanilla an powdered sugar. spread on cooled cake.
