Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small pumpkin (weighing about 2 1/2 lb.), 9 oz. ready-made pie pastry, 1 1/4 c. heavy cream, 3 eggs and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Set oven to 400Β°.
For the pastry, roll into a circle and line a 9-inch pie pan.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Scoop the flesh out of the pumpkin and throw away the skin and seeds.
Put in a pan and cover with water; simmer for 25 minutes.
Drain away the water and leave the pumpkin to cool down. Mash with a fork or in a blender until it's perfectly smooth and free of lumps.
Beat pumpkin, eggs, cream, salt, sugar and spices.
