Pumpkin Applesauce Bread
Pumpkin Applesauce Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 2/3 c. shortening, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 c. applesauce and 1 c. pumpkin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each.
Stir in applesauce and pumpkin.
Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with apple juice. Stir in chopped nuts.
Turn into 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until done.
May be wrapped in foil and frozen.
