Puff Shells
Puff Shells is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. unsifted plain flour and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In medium saucepan, heat water and margarine until margarine melts and water boils.
Remove from heat.
Immediately add 1 cup flour and stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture leaves sides of the pan.
Cool for 5 minutes.
With wooden spoon, beat in eggs, one at a time, until each is thoroughly blended into the mixture.
Place mixture in a large bowl and repeat entire process for another batch.
Add all batches together.
Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Grease a baking sheet.
Drop mixture into mounds of desired size onto sheet.
Bake until lightly browned and fluffy.
Adjust time to your own oven.
Fill with chicken salad or any filling you prefer.
