Pralines(Mexican Candy)
Pralines(Mexican Candy) is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. pecan halves, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 c. sour cream and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Butter sides of heavy 1-quart saucepan.
Stir sugar, vanilla and sour cream together in the saucepan.
Continue to stir until all melts and then cook to soft ball stage (236Β° on a candy thermometer).
Add vanilla; beat until mixture thickens.
Add the pecan halves and stir until all are coated.
Turn out on greased platter.
Separate the nuts after they cool.
