Praline Coffee Cake
Praline Coffee Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, 3/4 c. flour, 1/2 c. butter, 3 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 c. chopped pecans (fine), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Blend brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour and cinnamon.
Cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.
Stir in pecans; set aside.
Sift 3 cups flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir lemon juice into evaporated milk.
Cream 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each addition. Add flour and milk alternately; beat well after each addition. Fold in raisins and spread about 1/3 of praline mix into bottom of well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
Cover with half of batter mix. Sprinkle remaining praline mix over batter and press gently.
Bake at 350Β° for 60 minutes.
Let stand in pan 10 minutes before removing.
