Pound Cake

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add milk and flour (mixed with salt and baking powder) alternately.
Beat well after each addition.
Add one egg at a time.
Beat well each time, then add 1 teaspoon each of vanilla, lemon, orange and butter flavoring. Bake in greased and floured angel food pan at 315° to 325° for 1 hour.
