Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks soft butter, 3 c. plain flour, 2 tsp. vanilla flavor or 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor, 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor and 1/2 tsp. coconut flavor, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy with few grains of sugar, using high speed.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Lower the speed to folding, or low.
Add sifted flour alternately with whipping cream, beginning and ending with flour.
Add flavor.
Pour in prepared pan (one greased with Crisco) and dust with flour.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325Β° (use small pan of water in stove for moisture).
Allow to cool in pan before removing cake from pan.
