Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or oleo, 3 c. sugar, 3 c. cake flour, 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring and 1/2 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the butter, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each egg.
Add milk alternately with sifted cake flour, beating until well mixed and smooth.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Pour into well-greased tube cake pan. Bottom of pan should be lined with wax paper.
Place in cold oven set at 300Β° and bake until it leaves side of pan (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
