Potato Soup
Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 potatoes, diced, 1/2 small onion, diced, 1/2 lb. butter, 1/2 pt. half and half and 1 lb. bacon, cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook potatoes and drain (do not overcook, usually 5 minutes). Take 1/2 amount and mash with half and half, butter and garlic salt, lightly covering top.
Add all together with cheese and bacon (should be cooked and crumbed).
If a little dry, use regular milk until the consistency you want.
Simmer until hot, do not boil.
