Potato Frank Chowder
Potato Frank Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. boiling water, 3 c. southern style hash brown potatoes, 1/2 lb. wieners, 1/3 c. chopped onion and 1/3 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Pour boiling water over hash brown potatoes.
In medium bowl, let stand 10 minutes.
Slice wieners.
Saute with onion and celery in butter in large saucepan until vegetables are tender.
Stir in celery soup, evaporated milk, salt, dill weed, potatoes and water. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and boil gently.
