Potato-Cheese Scallop
Potato-Cheese Scallop is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, thinly sliced, 2 tbsp. melted butter, 6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced, 1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Saute onion slices in butter.
Place 1/4 potatoes in bottom of greased 2-quart dish or casserole.
Add 1/2 each onion slices, cheese, flour, salt and pepper.
Repeat layers.
Pour milk over. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer.
Serves 6.
