In 9 x 13-inch greased pan, spread 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes, partially thawed.
Drizzle with 1/2 cup melted margarine over potatoes.
Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup sour cream, 2 cups cubed Cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup onion. Pour over potatoes. Top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
